Malia starts singing, "The itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout," really loud and doing the hand actions. No amount of covering her mouth or trying to hush her could stop her. The 2 two-year olds behind us join in for, "Down came the rain and washed the spider out."
"Out came the sun and dried up all the rain." A few rows of adults giggling and nudging eachother point to the children's choir. I'm sure they were thinking, "Atleast it's not my kid!"
So much for reverence.

LOL! I wish I could have been there!
Thanks for swallowing your embarrassment enough to post! :)

haha! My daughter just screams and points at the bread and water because she wants to eat/drink them!
My favorite sacrament meeting was when 2 year old Eliza said very loudly before the sacrament hymn, "Look Mom, it's Sister Hiatt! It's Sister Hiatt, she's my friend!" I was sitting two rows behind Eliza's family. Eliza was standing on the pew waving and smiling at me. I confess, I thought she was the cutest thing and I smiled and waved back. The rest of the meeting Eliza and her mom battled. By the intermediate hymn Eliza escaped to come sit with me. Her dad caught her and took her out as she protested. Eventually the compromise was that Eliza could stand and wave at me as long as she didn't talk or try to give me snacks. I figured out (a little late) that I should help the parents by not smiling and waving back. Next time I'll have to try itsy bitsy spider....
Rachel- Sounds like Eliza is fun. Maybe her parents should let her sit by you! You would have fun, she would be quieter, and they would enjoy sacrament meeting!
Tiff- glad you got a laugh:)
Oh my gosh, I think that is one of the funniest things I have heard in a long time!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!
But I am curious to know: did you laugh too, or have to fight the laughter from even coming out?
I tried my best not to laugh.
Tiff- this week she was just calling and pointing for the bread.
