Family Circus #3

Yes, it was Sacrament Meeting at church again. Only this time, I was up on the stand. (I am the new chorister for our congregation.)

As I sat in peace, Mark was sitting on the second row with the 3 kids. Brooklynn on his left, was trying to be good. Jeffrey on his right, was elbowing him repeatedly as hard as he could, just for some manly fun. And Malia on his lap, was singing at the top of her lungs,

"Singing altogether,
Running round and round
Bouncy, bouncy on the bed
We all fall DOWN!"

Hehehe. Mark was trying to keep her quiet while the Sacrament was being passed. She wouldn't hush. Then she started yelling and waving, "Hi MOM!" I waved back with a little smirk. Glad it wasn't me!

Family Picture Practice

Tonight I had Malia practice her smile for family pictures this Saturday.

Hmmmmmm. I'm thinking a candid picture might turn out better than a posed one.

More Family Circus

Sacrament Meeting yesterday while the bread is being passed:

Malia starts singing, "The itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout," really loud and doing the hand actions. No amount of covering her mouth or trying to hush her could stop her. The 2 two-year olds behind us join in for, "Down came the rain and washed the spider out."

"Out came the sun and dried up all the rain." A few rows of adults giggling and nudging eachother point to the children's choir. I'm sure they were thinking, "Atleast it's not my kid!"

So much for reverence.

Family Circus

Today we went to my sister's church. Her adorable baby was blessed along with 3 others. After the first two Malia was getting antsy. I was trying to keep her quiet, "Look at that little baby girl!"

Her response, "Baby gils dink."
"Did you just say, 'baby girls stink?' "
"Yes mommy. Baby gils DINK."

So much for trying to keep her quiet.
A few minutes later was the sacrament. She was standing on the pew and waving her hands. "Kumon bread!"

After church, while pointing to herself, "This lil' gil pooped her pants again!"
