I JUST told Jeremy there are so many stinking dandelions here! He is convinced that it's not any more than in Idaho, but I am. And this confirms it. So thanks! :)
I do have to say that I think Ithaca beats out Omaha...once it warmed up, we had more yellow than green on our lawn. I would send the kids out w/buckets and bowls and they would pick dandelions for at least half an hour before they got bored!
Emily you're the dandelion expert since you've lived in both places. Last summer we were reading "Kit" from the American Girl series and they actually picked the dandelion greens and ate them. Hmmmmmmmmmm. Another use.

They grow wild EVERYWHERE! Think of all the dandelion leis we could make!
