Unfortunately, the 180 calories in the YoCrunch are not the same as the 960 calories in the Burger King Oreo Shake. So sad. I really thought that I might be on to something.

Baby Steps

Well, here she is! She started walking yesterday at 13 months and 1 day.

(She's been attatched to the Motrin bottle and dropper the last few days. Teething!! She thinks if she chews on the dropper or screams enough she'll get more. Sorry, doesn't work that way.)

Happy Father's Day to Mark! The kids and I had fun planning a nice dinner and dessert for him. Yummo on the dessert! It's a new favorite around here. Ice cream sandwiches layered with a hotfudge, cream and oreo filling. You really can't mess this one up! Jeffrey had so much fun making this with me. And, he has requested it again for his birthday cake 11 months from now. Here is what it looks like:

The Sprayground

Cooling off in the midwest.
Yesterday was in the 90's and then the humidity...now that's another story. I hear it gets worse. Atleast there are a few spots around town to cool off!!

Malia loved getting wet- especially with Brooklynn! A few times I was certain that she would start walking when she saw Brooklynn. Little stinker tried crawling instead. She is soooooo close.

Almost Walking!!

She is so proud of herself! And Brooklynn has been behind her 100%. We've been following her with the camera so hopefully we'll capture her first steps. I think it will be this week!!

Painted Ladies

When we were out running errands today we stopped by my favorite toy store. They sell things like erector sets, snap circuits, Haba wooden toys (a weakness of mine), clutching toys, teethers, a little something for everyone in our family. Jeffrey and Brooklynn love it too! Toys are EVERYWHERE just waiting to be played with. They always test drive the plasma car and do a little indoor golf. Today the clerk was getting ready to release butterflies, painted ladies. Jeffrey and Brooklynn were able to help. They reached into the butterfly pavilion and one at a time got them on their fingers and moved them to the flower beds. Brooklynn loved it! I was planning on getting her a butterfly pavilion for her birthday. Now we definitely will.
