Jeffrey turned 8 yesterday! At our house that means no school work or chores. He was in heaven lounging about watching t.v. all morning. He also chose where the family went to lunch to celebrate- Chuck-O-Rama- land of endless desserts.This year we decided to spend half of his birthday money on things we wanted to get him and gave him the other half to spend. We turned him loose in Target's toy section for a shopping spree. His purchases included Transformer's BumbleBee gear, Star Wars items, and some Pokemon cards. It was funny to see how reluctant he is to spend his own money, but if it's Mom and Dad's money, he'll spend it in a heart beat.
