The kids have started a new spring tradition. When they see a tree in bloom they sing the popcorn song until they have passed it and the song suddenly stops. It starts up again when they see another blooming tree. We pass by several orchards on the way to Mark's work with different colors of white and pink blossoms. They have had lots of chances to perfect their game. The game will soon be over as the blooms are are beginning to fall and the leaves appear in their places.

My kids have been doing the same thing. We walk around the neighborhood a lot and there are many trees with blooms on them. They sing a bit of the song and then stop. We get to hear just the first part over and over again.
