Cold Morning Entertainment

Making 'frostballs'

Sugalicious

My baby is growing up! She's becoming a chatter-box. Her words include "Re", "Bob," and "Me" which mean Jeffrey, Brooklynn, and Me. She also says, "Mom," and "Da-eeee" for "Daddy" which she always says in a loud voice full of enthusiasm.
"Iyuyou" for "I love you."
"Iwasum" translates to "I want some."
"Coal" is "cold" and she will hold her coat hood on her head with her hands.
Baby is for baby or blanket
Be is bed.
Luckily she hasn't learned "NO" yet, but I'm sure that's coming soon. She will shake her head for no and for yes it's "uh-huh."

When she is upset she covers her eyes with her hands and jabbers. She'll look out on her world again and if things haven't changes she cries and covers her eyes, repeat.

She also loves to play 'pass the kiss'. I kiss her cheek and tell her to give it to someone. She'll run over and kiss their cheek.

Such a fun age!

'Twas Beginning to Look Alot Like Christmas

A few of our holiday memories...........
Baking up some holiday fun, Brooklynn reads the recipe for 'CornFlake Holly', a long standing family tradition.

Next it was time for Gingerbread House making. Jeffrey putting mortar on the base.

We drove to a quaint little town for their annual 'Santa Parade.' The line was only 20 minutes. The kids were able to tell Santa their hearts' desires for Christmas morning. Brooklynn confided that she wants a puppy. Such a jolly ol' St. Nick! We'll have to repeat this one next year!
