I woke up this morning and what did I see...
A brand new tire, flat as can be.

Jeffrey using the jackYes, that's right. A tire- 18 hours new, flat as a pancake. Apparently the technician turned the tire pressure sensor a little too far. The sensor slowly release air all night long. Problem now solved!

Elizabeth Orton Jones
I had never heard of Elizabeth Orton Jones, children's book author and illustrator, until a few weeks ago.
We are half way through this fairytale. Twig is a young city girl who turns her shared back yard into an enchanted place. Not only does she become 'miniature', she becomes friends with a sparrow family, an elf and has just received a pair of wings. We can't stop now. I think she is going to meet the Queen of the Fairies soon too!
I thought "Big Susan" was a cute book. The kids lost interest half way through. It's the story of a school girl, Susan, and her doll house.
